Ahh, thanks to byhand.me it is much easier to show off the works of other fabulous artists. Because, it can’t always be about me, you know? So, here is a freshly picked “spotlight” I made (so addictive) featuring some strawberry goodness from sellers of ArtFire.com, 1000markets.com and of course, Etsy.com – please feel free to click on anything that interests you. You’ll be taken to the item’s listing in the corresponding shop and who knows what else you’ll discover.
After months of giving up on strawberries (they’re always too mushy, it seems – I like ‘em just under-ripened) I gave in and got a pint. They were the best I’d had in a long time! That’s the inspiration (as well as a Beatles’ song of course) behind my spotlight.
But, now I’ve got projects to finish – thanks for reading!

Firstly, if you stopped by this table at the Trustees Market:

Thank you! Secondly, yesterday’s market went really well – seemed like there was a lot more traffic. I think there were a lot more vacationers/tourists there, which is great!
Thirdly, I’m still working on those secret projects, but hope to have them ready and photographed (where’d the sun go?!) soon. Matter of factly, one of those projects is actually visible in the photograph above. (I did a test run last night, successfully, too.)
Fourthly, we’re doing a little grocery shopping and then it’s back to work! So, I’ll leave you all with some Market scenery:

Thanks for reading!

My baby, aka my Etsy shop is one year old today. It’s been a good year! To celebrate – I’m having a one day sale!

Also, the results of the giveaway? Comment #84 was the big winner – so says random.org (see below)

I’ll be e-mailing you soon, R Hicks!
In other news, tonight I’ll be vending at the Trustees Market, so if you live in Savannah – or the surrounding area – and are free from 4-7PM, you should stop by! (It takes place in the building/tent next to the Pirate’s House restaurant downtown.)
I’m still up to my eyeballs in projects (I might even be debuting one tonight – we’ll see!) so I’ll cut this post short. Thanks to everyone who reads my blog and supports my art – You’re the best! ♥

(Title inspired by “Amie” – Pure Prairie League) Yes, I know it’s “Amie” but – I’m referring to Amy aka Not Moira – creator of the most awesomely awesome greetings, recipe cards and totebags.
Now, you might be asking yourself “Why is she blogging about this Amy person?” well, one – because I haven’t blogged in a day or two because I’m up to my eyeballs in projects, and two – because she mentioned me in an interview on Data Entrails’ “blag.” I felt it was only fair to mention her back.
You might remember her from a previous blog post and/or youtube video where she shows off a beautiful photograph that her husband bought for her
So – visit her shop! And another thing, tonight’s the cut-off for the giveaway. Tomorrow I’ll announce the winner and have a one day sale of some sort, to celebrate. Stay tuned!
& Thanks for reading

That, my friends, is the first photograph I ever sold on Etsy – exactly two weeks after opening my shop. (That’s pretty good by normal Etsy standards.) I hadn’t relisted it since, that is, until today. It’s back in the shop and ready to grace someone else’s home.
Ahh, memories.
In other news, I’m working on/playing around with the gallery here – so pardon my dust, if things look messy. Also: if the sun will come out today, I’ll be photographing a new batch of creations to hopefully share with you all soon. And don’t forget about the giveaway! And one more thing; Rebecca was kind enough to post an interview with me on her blog as well as on byhand.me – Thanks Rebecca!
& Thank you all for reading
